 +We already have Inkscape, Gimp, Synfig, Blender, for raster, vector, animation, modeling/​animation respectively. However a simple distraction free design bench/tool is still not available. Out of these tools, starting from Inkscape makes more sense. It can have modules that are programmed in C++/​Python. ​
